GREENWOOD, Ind. — Greenwood Sports Park is preparing for a busy slate of regional and national youth athletics next year following key agreement approvals by the Greenwood Parks and Recreation Board.
The board recently approved a facility use agreement with Midwest Baseball to host nine youth baseball tournaments at the venue throughout the spring and summer of 2027.
The Sports Park and "Connect Sports" also approved an amended agreement to add tournament dates on October 15 and 17, 2027, to their schedule.
Recreation staff also announced an upcoming late-October softball tournament that will bring teams from across the nation to Greenwood, including entries from New Jersey, San Diego, and Washington State.
