NORTH VERNON, Ind. - Detectives and deputies with the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO), assisted by the Indiana State Police (ISP), served a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Laurel Street in North Vernon on Thursday, June 25. It followed a lengthy investigation involving Child Sexual Abuse Material.

As a result of the investigation, Keith E. Moore, 33, of North Vernon, was taken into custody without incident at the residence.

During the execution of the search warrant, detectives allegedly located and seized multiple electronic devices for evidentiary purposes. A preliminary forensic review supposedly revealed multiple images and videos consistent with Child Sexual Abuse Material.

JCSO maintains a zero-tolerance stance toward crimes involving the exploitation of children. Investigations involving Child Sexual Abuse Material remain a high priority, and detectives will continue to aggressively investigate and pursue those responsible for the possession, distribution, and production of such material.

All criminal defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
