NORTH VERNON, Ind. - The Jennings County Community Foundation announced that, thanks to special matching opportunities, your monetary gift can be doubled or even tripled, creating immediate impact while building permanent endowments for Jennings County nonprofits.

The Foundation aims to make Jennings County a place where families always have somewhere to turn for help, where children have opportunities to learn and grow, and where parks, arts, education, food assistance, and community programs continue to thrive for decades to come.

This Giving Tuesday, December 1, you can help make that vision a reality.

The goal is to raise $375,000, which will unlock a $750,000 Lilly Endowment GIFT IX match, creating over $1.1 million in permanent community endowment funds. Local nonprofits can apply for grants from these funds to support local needs for generations.

These Jennings County Community Foundation grants have already helped organizations such as the Town of Vernon, Jennings County 4-H, Good Samaritan Food Pantry, North Vernon Parks and Rec, and many others.

All Jennings County nonprofits are eligible to apply for community grants, meaning your donation strengthens the entire nonprofit community.
