COLUMBUS, Ind. - A squad of Indiana State Police (ISP) troopers targeted Bartholomew County to focus on safe operation of motor vehicles and criminal interdiction on area roadways on Friday evening, June 19.
During the patrol, officers recorded the following activity:
- 14 Speeding Citations
- 7 Tickets for other moving violations
- 4 Driving While Suspended Citations
- 4 Seatbelt Citations
- 60 Warnings
- 2 Drug-Related Arrests
- 5 Additional Criminal Arrests
This past weekend, Columbus and Bartholomew County were the designated areas to patrol. As the calendar turns from spring to summer, troopers will continue to join together to target specific areas of the ISP-Versailles District in an effort to make Hoosier communities and roadways safer for all.
