COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Columbus Area Arts Council (CAAC) series, First Fridays for Families, continues its 2026 season on Friday, March 6, at 5:30 p.m. at Helen Haddad Hall. Doors open at 5:00.
First Fridays for Families introduces young audiences to a wide variety of performing arts in a fun and informal setting at The Commons.
The second show in this year's series is "Jammin' With the Phil," performed by the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic (CIP) Youth Orchestra.
The performance features captivating pieces and insights into orchestral instruments. Afterward, enjoy a hands-on String Instrument Petting Zoo where guests can try instruments with guidance from the CIP Youth Orchestra members and their mascot, Phil-Harmonic.
Other shows in the CAAC series are on Fridays, April 3 and May 1.
