COLUMBUS, Ind. - Ivy Tech Community College will celebrate its graduating class of 2026 from its Columbus, Franklin, and Shelbyville campuses at two upcoming commencement ceremonies at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on May 5 at the Judson S. Erne Auditorium, 1400 25th St.
The 5 p.m. ceremony will recognize graduates of the College’s Schools of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering and Applied Science; Arts, Sciences, and Education; Business, Logistics and Supply Chain; Entrepreneurship, and Innovation; Information Technology; and Public Affairs and Social Services.
The 7:30 p.m. ceremony will recognize graduates of the Schools of Health Sciences and Nursing.
This year, the campus will honor more than 1,700 graduates earning credentials across a wide range of high‑demand programs, including Agriculture, Aviation, Business Administration, Cybersecurity, Dental Hygiene, Early Childhood Education, General Studies, Human Services, Industrial Technology, Medical Assisting, Nursing, Psychology, Surgical Technology, and Visual Communications.
More than 500 students have completed the Indiana College Core, a 30-credit-hour block of general education coursework that high school students can complete to earn a certificate, equivalent to one year of college credit. It is guaranteed to transfer between all Indiana public colleges, universities, and some private institutions.
Tickets are required to attend the commencement ceremonies. They will be livestreamed on the Ivy Tech Columbus Facebook page at facebook.com/ivytechcolumbus. Family and friends of the graduates who do not have tickets are welcome to attend a livestream watch party for both ceremonies at Moravec Hall, 4475 Central Ave.
