GREENWOOD, Ind. — Winterization efforts are nearly complete at Freedom Springs Aquatic Center following the end of the summer season.
All three pools at the facility have been fully drained and winterized, with crew focus shifting to blowing out pump house lines, preparing the water slides, and completing seasonal deck cleaning.
In addition to seasonal winter prep, the facility’s lazy river is undergoing a full repaint, a process undertaken every three years.
American Clean Seal was contracted for the painting service, which is slated for completion before cold weather settles in for the season.
