FRANKLIN, Ind. - Discover Downtown Franklin hosts the 2026 Ethos Celebration of the Arts event in the heart of historic Downtown Franklin on Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The festival features local and regional juried artists showcasing original art in 2D and 3D categories. Artists will set up booths to showcase and sell their art throughout the day. Judges will award prizes in each category, totaling $4,000.
The free art show event will include live music, beer, wine, soda, and snack vendors.
The Ethos Celebration of the Arts festival is open to and welcomes all individual artists who make their original fine art by hand. All work must be original and created by the artist present at the event.
Once accepted into the show, artists will pay $100 for a 10' x 10' booth space to exhibit. These fees must be paid by the purchase deadline, or the artist will forfeit their spot in the show.
At Ethos, artists will display and sell their artwork, and must be present for the entire show. They will be automatically included in a day-of judging.
Monetary prizes are awarded for first place ($500) and second place ($250) in the 2D and 3D categories, and $1,000 for Best in Show. New this year, $500 will also be awarded for Best Textiles, Best Photography, and Best Jewelry.
