Columbus approves banner request for 2026 Ethnic Expo

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Columbus Board of Public Works and Safety has approved a request for banners for the 2026 Ethnic Expo.

The annual cultural celebration will return to downtown Columbus on Friday, October 9, and Saturday, October 10.

Organizers announced this year’s theme as "Global Voices, Local Stories," encouraging area residents to share their personal journeys of how Columbus became their home.

The two-day festival will feature 45 food vendors, 17 market vendors, a beer garden, a dedicated food truck section, and continuous live entertainment.

Ethnic Expo organizers anticipate strong attendance and hope for favorable weather for one of the county's largest annual community gatherings.
