COLUMBUS, Ind. - City of Columbus and Bartholomew County officials announce that all of their offices will be closed this Monday, May 25, to commemorate the Memorial Day holiday.
This includes Columbus City Utilities, Bartholomew County Landfill, and Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center.
There will be no trash or recycling pickups on Memorial Day. All collections will run one day behind for the remainder of the week, with normal Friday collection on Saturday, May 30. Residents are urged to have their toters out by 7 a.m.
If there is a problem with your water or sewer service during the holiday weekend, Columbus City Utilities advises, "Call 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts."
