COLUMBUS, Ind. - Although there have already been some pre-fair activities, the 2026 Bartholomew County 4-H Fair officially opens this Friday, June 19, at 5 p.m., at the fairgrounds, on State Road 11, in Columbus. The fair continues for nine days.
The midway is open every night and some afternoons for rides and games. On opening night, an all-you-can-ride wristband is available for $30 to ride from 5 p.m. until closing.
The 4-H Watermelon Relay is the grandstand feature on Friday at 8 p.m. Again this year, there are two demolition derbies on Saturdays, June 20 and 27.
