NORTH VERNON, Ind. - The Jennings County Sheriff's Office is again hosting "National Night Out" this Tuesday, August 4, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Jennings County Fairgrounds.
National Night Out is an annual community event that brings neighbors and first responders together to strengthen relationships, promote public safety, and build a safer, stronger community in a fun, family-friendly environment.
This year's event will include:
- Free hot dogs, chips, and bottled water
- A coloring contest
- Music by DJ Eder
- Face painting
- Jennings County Animal Control adoption event
- Ambulances/JCSO patrol cars/Fire trucks
- Dunk a Deputy
