VERNON, Ind. — Perceptions Yoga, Mindfulness and Art in Vernon is pleased to announce “VISION ART,” a solo exhibition featuring the work of local artist Russell Bailey. The show will open on Saturday, February 1, from noon to 2 p.m. The public is warmly invited to attend this free event.
A lifelong resident of North Vernon, Russell Bailey is a passionate artist who considers his craft a true calling. Inspired by wildlife and nature, Bailey works in diverse mediums, including glass etchings, acrylic painting, enamel work, and pen-and-ink sketches. With a 30-year career as a professional tattoo artist, Bailey brings a unique perspective to his fine art practice.
“One of the things that sets me apart is my ability to bring visions to life—ideas that many people might not be able to see themselves,” says Bailey. “I call my work ‘Visions’ because it’s all about transforming intangible ideas into tangible art. Whether it’s a memorial piece to honor a lost loved one or a meaningful family design, I take pride in capturing emotions and memories in every project. My motto is simple: Your ideas become my vision.”
“VISION ART” will be on view at Perceptions Yoga throughout the month of February. Gallery hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information about this and other upcoming events, please visit www.perceptionsyoga.org or contact Karen Chilman at karenchilman@perceptionsyoga.
